T. Randall Grove and Philip B. Janney named Washington Super Lawyer

June 25, 2012 - Estate Planning attorneys T. Randall Grove  and Philip B. Janney have been named to the Washington State Super Lawyers list as one of the top attorneys in Washington for 2012. No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor each year. Randy has been chosen as a Washington Super Lawyer every year since 2005. Super Lawyers, a service of the Thomson Reuters Legal division based in Eagan, Minnesota, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Annual selections for this esteemed list are made using a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice areas.

William C. Dudley Elected Chair of the Board to Columbia River Economic Development Council

January 2012 - At the annual meeting of the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC), business attorney William C. Dudley was elected Chair of the Board. As quoted in the Vancouver Business Journal blog, "Just Business," Bill remarks that the CREDC's mission is "not about just getting jobs, it's about getting the right jobs."

Jill H. Sasser Elected as Clark County Bar Association Trustee

September 2011 - At its quarterly meeting on September 14 at the Inn at the Quay, the Clark County Bar Association elected its officers for the coming year. The slate of new officers, as nominated by the board and elected at the meeting, includes estate planning attorney Jill H. Sasser to the position of Trustee.

Linda E. Frischmeyer Appointed to Professionalism Committee

September 2, 2011 - The Washington State Bar Association Board of Governors has appointed attorney Linda E. Frischmeyer to a position on the Professionalism Committee beginning October 1, 2011 for a two year term. The Professionalism Committee recommends programs to increase professionalism by assisting attorneys in fostering better client relations; improving civility among attorneys; and creating and promoting educational opportunities focusing on issues related to professionalism, ethics, and civility.

Irwin C. Landerholm Celebrates 60th Anniversary

August 12, 2011 - Irwin C. Landerholm, retired founding member of Landerholm, P.S., celebrated his 60th anniversary with the law firm on Friday, August 12, 2011, surrounded by his work friends and family.  Irwin, and the law firm he has been a part of since he began his legal career, has always been committed to supporting the community and offering exceptional legal services to its clients.

Landerholm, P.S. Raises over $5,000 for March of Dimes

April 30, 2011 – Employees of Landerholm gathered in downtown Vancouver to support March of Dimes, a charity whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Landerholm employees raised over $5,000 for March of Dimes and participated in a 6.2 mile course through Vancouver.

Philip B. Janney Elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC)

December 12, 2010 – Established in 1949, ACTEC is a nonprofit association of 2,600 trust and estate lawyers, peer-elected to membership based on substantial contributions to the field of trusts and estates law. ACTEC offers technical comments about the law and its effective administration, but does not take positions on matters of policy or political objectives.
